Four Legged Walk Cycle

So after having not drawn out one of these in awhile, I decided to do a refresher with some notes to myself. (Why doesn't this uploader support shockwave files!!!)

High Jumping

So I like this new workflow, something I saw on Jason Ryan's website a while ago. Since it's quicker for me to draw out the animation I want (and for some reason I feel less inhibited with pushing poses on paper, wow alliteration hahah!) I started with a 2D version in Flash. It took me about 20 minutes or so to rough it out and get the timing close to where I wanted it.

I key framed out the sequence in 3DSMax (rig by Peter Starostin)and now I just need to tweak the timing and get some break down keys to make the motion look less "swimmy" and sticky.
